Artist D4vd Allegedly Named as Person of Interest in Fatal Case of Teen Located in Tesla

The performer known as D4vd became identified as a person of interest in the death of Celeste Rivas, a adolescent who vanished and was later discovered deceased inside the musician's Tesla car this past fall, according to law enforcement.

Finding of the Deceased

This deteriorated corpse of Rivas, aged fifteen, was found in this past autumn inside the front storage compartment of a black Tesla registered to D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke. The automobile had been cited in a Los Angeles neighborhood and subsequently confiscated at a vehicle storage facility in the metropolitan area.

Sequence of Events

Authorities suspect that Rivas almost certainly died in the earlier part of the year, noting that D4vd had probably assisted in dismantling and disposing of the corpse. The musician has been uncooperative in the investigation, as stated by a police source.

This teenager Rivas was initially declared missing from her hometown in spring 2024. Her corpse was subsequently found in the musician's Tesla after workers at a towing company reported a powerful odor originating from the vehicle.

Probe and Official Remarks

The fatal cause has yet to be ascertained, but the forensic office remarked that Rivas “appears to have been dead inside the automobile for an extended period before being found.” Law enforcement are considering her death as a murder.

Details on D4vd

This Houston musician had been issued a ticket in the Hollywood Hills just 11 days before Rivas was found in the car, after exceeding the 72-hour parking limit. Neighbors in the Hollywood Hills mentioned that the Tesla had been left in the vicinity for over a month.

Celeste's brother stated that the family was aware that Rivas had a connection to the singer and that she was traveling to watch a film with him just before she went missing.

D4vd, pronounced as “David,” is a New York-born musician recognized for the popular songs “Romantic Homicide” and “Here With Me.” D4vd and his representative were residing at a LA property in the Hollywood area in this past autumn, according to the property's landlord, until authorities searched the residence.

D4vd has contracted with music companies. D4vd was on tour at the period Rivas's corpse were located, but cancelled those performances subsequent to the finding of Rivas's remains.
